Trout for lunch

Today we went to the Gold Creek Trout Farm in Woodinville to go fishing with Nora. This is a perfect place to take a 4-year-old fishing, since you are pretty much guaranteed to get a fish within seconds of putting your pole in the water.

Trout #1 was caught almost before I had the chance to turn the camera on!

We had a few bites after this but the fish made it off the hook before Nora could set it. After a couple of minutes, she successfully landed trout #2:

We're going to eat them for lunch today!

Wedding on Anderson Island

Today we attended a lovely wedding of a friend that I teach with. As you know, Nora loves to dance in the middle of everything at weddings and has done so since she was in diapers. Today, she danced in the middle of a folk dancing circle. Following are some wonderful pictures we were able to take at the farm where the wedding was held. It was a beautiful day and a fabulously unique ceramony.

Camping with Auntie Pea

We escaped the heat of Seattle by camping on Whidbey Island last week with Auntie Pea. It was actually much colder than we expected. Nora had to stay in her long PJs most of the next day until the temps were in the 60s!

Nora thought this tree was dancing!
