Carving pumpkins
Yesterday we helped Nora carve her first pumpkin. In this picture, she's showing us her creative drawing which would have been quite difficult to render with a knife...so we had to compromise and cut out a smiley face instead.
I think her favorite part was reaching in to pull the guts out, the look on her face was precious. "Yucky! Yucky!"

What fun! I thought of Nora today when the kindergartners sang "Pumpkin, pumpkin, round and fat, turn into a Jack'o'lantern, just like that!" They made some pretty funny faces when I asked them what jack'o'lanterns look like!

So cute. Did she say "yucky!" What an adorable song, Rachel. I bet it won't be long before Nora will be singing it too.
Gotta make pumpkin seeds, otherwise the mess is in vain!
There were definately toasted pumpkin seeds! Nora was yelling out...YUCKY!
