Playing with bubbles is Nora's new favorite thing to do. Anytime we open the patio door, Nora perks up and says "owsye? baboo? owsye? yeah! baboo! baboo! peees? baboo!"
She has come up with a few "enhancements" to the English language. Here are some most commonly-heard "Nora-isms" along with their translations:
baboo = bubble
baby = Nora
bikey = a bicycle
daayi bikey = motorcycle (any motorcycle!)
daayi = daddy
eesye = inside
henno = hello
owsye = outside
pee = please
poo = pool
sidididilee = Sydney the cat

You sound like you're having fun with Nora today and it looks nice and sunny again! Thanks for the translations, too. They all make perfect sense to a linguist!
Love, Grandma Johnson
That is so fun! I am sitting here about crying because it is too cute! :) I will do that on our blog too! Lib's language really boomed after 19 months, so get ready.
I can just hear Nora's little voice. Hope she will always love blowing bubbles.
Love,
Nana
I wish her cousins would get the hang of bubbles...it's so much fun when someone else is blowing and they can chase the bubbles. Give either boy the wand and it goes instantly in the mouth! So gross...
Her hair is getting so long.
Bubbles is one of Ana's favorite. Maybe someday they'll be able to get together and play with them!
Don't worry Cousin Ethan and Cousin Logan, I am actually licking the stick in this picture, not blowing ;-)
Okay good, I thought my kids were freaks!
